Rigid Lens Mounts
This mount enables quick mounting of circular optics onto post holder. Rigid metallic cell hold optics with a retainer ring. The mounting hole in the cell is compatible with screw threads on post holder. Retainer rings allow us to hold different thicknesses of lenses, thus relieving us from using different mounts for the same diameter optics, but of different thickness
The diameter range from Ø12.7 mm to Ø75 fits most of the standard lens mounting requirement. This mount offers quick and rigid mounting, where centration accuracy is not a major concern.
Application Notes
A non-metallic washer prevents hard contact of metal with optics.
M6 tapped hole is compatible with threading on post mounts.
The circular optics may be retained in the cell for safe storage after experimentation.
It avoids accidental touching of polished/coated surface while handling optics
